I've reviewed the entire album which consists of Progressive House, Tech House, Progressive Breaks, Downtempo and this one Progressive Drum & Bass track, which I am totally lapping up... I've been caning the track all week and I the more I listen to it, the more I love it. I'm very much enjoying the entire album, but I won't get into those particulars here.
This isn't the hard and dark shade of drum & bass.. it's an uplifting progressive vocal piece sporting a very decently paced clean cut break.
For those who may be unaware, John Graham has been around for a long time in the world of electronic production and he is heavily significant to what has constituted the word "Progressive" over the years, as well has having severely enchanced many progressive styles under the umbrella of electronic production.
This is the man who produced Space Manoeuvres' "Stage One" which featured in the mix on Sasha & John Digweed's "Northern Exposure Expeditions" which I am still deeply in love with to this very day. Don't even get me started on his superb work under the alias of "Tlit" otherwise you'll need to gag me to shut me up.
Extract from elsewhere:
" For the past 15 years, John Graham has been at the forefront of the dance music genre.
Perhaps you’ll know him better through his numerous alter ego’s including Quivver, Space Manoeuvres, Stoneproof, Skanna, and Tilt, as each of these projects produced numerous hit singles and had a heavy hand in shaping the global dance music scene. "
Don't be afraid to give this a try if drum & bass is not a regular feature in your musical diet. You won't be disappointed. It's a splendid dose of get-up-and-go.
