THE REVIEW
Styles, Breeze and Hixxy are together responsible for ruining the
image of hardcore, with the chav-bait on the cover more or less
saying it all about the market at which this is pitching. However,
tacky and cheesy though it may be, I am not the kind of man who
lets prejudice get in the way of quality music, so I forked out
and gave it a shot: Whatever bigotry might lead you to expect
will be blasted away by the catchy melodies, euphoric synth-stabs
and bouncy drums for which we have all reluctantly come to love
the raver-baby trio. There is nothing subtle, and of course
nothing of musical merit, but none of that matters, as this album
is all about non-stop guilty pleasure. It is also surprisingly
original, and only occasionally do they succumb to the temptation
of recycling an old track.
