Robocop: The Series

Here are all 22 episodes of Robocop: The Series, the horribly
cheesy mid-90s live action TV show based on the blockbuster feature
film franchise.

The double-length pilot episode was adapted from an unused script for
Robocop 2 written by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner (writers of
the first Robocop film), and ignores the second and third films while
tweaking a few things from the first. Set a couple of years after Robocop
initially went online, the show was toned down somewhat to meet the
broadcast television standards of the day, where the hallmark excessive
violence of the film franchise would be simply unacceptable. So, instead
we get Robocop thinking a little more and finding non-lethal ways of
apprehending the villains (while saving little kids half the time).

It\'s cheesy fun!

The acting\'s a bit iffy, it\'s got some over-the-top villains (Pudface
Morgan? Dr. Cray Z. Mallardo? and that\'s just the pilot), it even looks
cheap a lot of the time despite budgets of over ~$1 million per episode.

If all you ever cared about the Robocop franchise was for the action
spectacle body-count, you\'ll probably walk away from this one
disappointed (although a few nice explosions here and there are
probably what ate up all the budgets...), BUT, if you like a cheerily cheesy
corporate controlled pseudo-dystopian near future THIS SHOW\'S FOR
YOU!
