| Description |
This is my online profile, i have finally unlocked all of the gold guns. To install just place the mpdata file into your (C:\\\\Program Files\\\\Activision\\\\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\\\\players\\\\profiles\\\\your_user_name\\\") it will overwrite your current one. Just in case backup your profile (by making a new folder and moving all your data in there) and once you have done that you can revert back to yours if you don\\\'t like having gold guns.
EDIT: IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION I MISSED A FEW DETAILS HERE THEY ARE ALONG WITH A LIST OF INSTRUCTIONS........
1. mpdata file needs to be downloaded
2. Go to Start -> Run-> Type regedit -> Hit Enter.
3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Activision -> Call of Duty 4
4. Double-click on the registry called codkey
5. Save the key somewhere (wordpad or notepad)
6. Then switch that key to my key (QYUL-ET2G-SDL2-48DJ-E43A)
7. Apply/ok then exit regedit.
8. Navigate to your Call of Duty 4 profile folder (typically “C:\\\\Program Files\\\\Activision\\\\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\\\\players\\\\profiles\\\\your_user_name”)
9. Back-up and then remove all the files in your user name folder.
10. Place the mpdata file you downloaded in your user name folder
11. Open the COD4 MP game and check your rank. You should now be level 55 with some challenges completed (sorry), all guns, and every camouflage unlocked (including gold)!
12. Finally, in the game go to Options -> Multiplayer Options -> Key Code and type in the key that you saved on wordpad/notepad.
