I have been around the Northern Soul scene for many years ~ promoting, Dj, and total freak. I have put together a few tracks that I associate with Cleethorpes. Some of which were borrowed from many orher fans to whom I say thank you very much guys ( Keep the Faith ).
You might say ' but I used to hear this played at such n such a place ', obviously there was a big crossover, with the likes of Willie Mitchells 'The Driving Beat' being played at everywhere from the Torch to the 6t's night in West Hampstead or the haunting sounds of The Dynatones, where I dare you to stay in your seats. And classic Cleethorpes like The Crows 'Autumn of Your Tomorrow' and Susan Colemans 'The Age of the Wolf' ,Spooky n Sue,Rain,Hosana Hipit, The Baby sitters ~ OMG Ive just had tingles!! But this torrent is MY OWN personal point of view and as they are all great tracks who really cares.
All I need for you to do now is to enjoy it but please seed it also ~ we need to keep these rarities alive.
