Jack Kirby's 2001: A Space Odyssey

This is the Adaptation of the classic and highly influential 2001 A Space Odyssey film directed by Stanley Kubrick and written by Arthur C. Clarke. And a film of this caliber, needed an equally great talent to get translated into the comics medium. Enter Jack Kirby, the "King" himself, who excels in this kind of stories (although he's even better telling his own tales), to make this adaption.

This issue was written, drawn and edited by Jack (Kirby) and it was inked by Frank Giacoia. It was lettered by John Constanza, and colored by Marie Severin and Jack Kirby. This issues has 82 pages, 70 of which are the main story and the remaining pages are some extras. It was released by Marvel Comics in 1976.
