What is it?

In short, it is a free tweaking program for Windows 7, Vista, Server 2008, and XP/2003. Both 32 and 64-bit.


Features:

Common to XP/2K3/Vista/2008:

- Add/Remove classic Windows 2000 user control panel icon

- Disable/Enable ATI Catalyst Control Center right click on
Desktop (only for use if you have an ATI video card and have
the Catalyst Control Center installed)

- Disable/Enable 'SendTo' right-click menu

- Disable/Enable ZipFolders

- Disable/Enable the Outlook Express / Windows Mail splash screen

- Put the File menu above the Back/Forward buttons in IE7

- Remove/Replace the Search box in IE7

- Disable/Enable Windows Media Player Explorer context menus

- Disable/Enable the Documents item on the Classic Start Menu

- Disable/Enable the "Shortcut" text added to shortcut names

- Remove custom file associations from the current user's
list of extensions.

- Add/Remove the "Copy To" and "Move To" right-click extensions.

- Enable / Disable Hibernation

- Disable / Enable "Low Disk Space" notification balloons.

- Disable / Enable all notification balloons.

- Disable / Enable AutoRun/AutoPlay

- Change number of connections IE can make to a server.


Windows XP only:

- Remove/Restore hidden ASPNET user that prevents auto login


Windows XP / 2003 only:

- Add "Tweak UI" icon to Control Panel (if installed)

- Enable Classic Search in Explorer and Internet Explorer 6

- Disable/Enable Windows scanning AVI files for thumbnails

- Add "Command Prompt Here" when you right-click on folders

- Allows you to adjust and tweak TCP/IP settings

- Changes the number of Folder views Windows saves

- Resets the folder views Windows has saved


Windows 2003/2008 only:

- Disable/Enable "Shutdown Reason" dialog under Server 2003


Vista only:

- Disable/Enable User Account Control prompts under Vista

- Disable/Enable UAC completly under Vista

- Attempt to force Vista to better save folder views

- Add/Remove "Take Ownership" to right-click menus

- Changes "Delete" to "Search..." on Recycle Bin

- Turn off the annoying full screen "black" UAC prompt.

- Turn off the 64-bit requirement of signed drivers. *
(Note, this may not work if you have applied the August 2007
updates to Windows Vista)

- Add/Remove the Network Connections icon to Control Panel

- Disable/Enable "Previous Versions" and "Available Offline"
options on right-click menu.


At the moment, Windows 7 has only some of the tweaks Windows Vista has.

Windows 7 Only:

- Disable/Enable "Drag from Maximize" and other new Windows 7 features like
"Aero Shake" to disable other windows, and dragging to the edge of the screen
to maximize or vertically tile a window.

- Adjust Mouse Hover delay for Aero Peek.


System Requirements:


Windows XP, 2003, Vista, Server 2008, or Windows 7.

.NET Framework 2.0 if you are using Windows XP or Windows 2003.


Changelog:


New tweak: Remove the arrow overlay on Shortcuts.
Under Windows Vista and Windows 7, you can also use the XP-style arrow overlay. This is under the "Icon Appearance" option.

Updated some text on things that said Vista but worked on Win7 as well.

Updated some text on things that said IE7 but worked on IE8 as well.
