Channel 4 delves into the lives of four women who have rejected the trappings of modern life in favour of something a bit more old school.
And we're not just talking about clothing and decor - these women have vintage values to match.
Having rejected the independence that comes with being a modern working woman, Joanne, Debbie, Diane and Sammi are desperate to be old-fashioned housewives.
The four women have found men who share their vintage obsession, and have turned their homes into vintage shrines, wilfully ignoring most aspects of modern life.
"We don't listen to the news. I don't read a newspaper. I don't watch television. I don't go out for meals," says Joanne, whose determination to live in a 1950's bubble leaves her completely (and unbelievably) cut off from the outside world.
"Sometimes I can be in a conversation where I don't know what people are talking about. I didn't know Tony Blair wasn't Prime Minister until about two months ago!"
Can these women maintain their time warp obsession, or will distractions such as internet shopping, potentially successful careers, and (dare we say it) real life get in the way?
