Deploy Proofing Tools for the 2007 Office system
Proofing Tools for the 2007 Microsoft Office system allow users to edit documents in more than 50 languages. Depending upon the language, these editing tools may include spelling and grammar checkers, thesauruses, and hyphenators.
Proofing Tools may also include language-specific editing features such as Language AutoDetect, AutoSummarize, and Intelligent Auto Correct.
Each language version of the 2007 Office release includes Proofing Tools for a set of companion languages. For example, when you deploy the English version of an Office product, users receive Proofing Tools for both Spanish and French in addition to English. Proofing Tools are located in the Proof.ll-cc folder at the root of the installation point. For example:

Hard disk space requirements for Proofing Tools vary by language. For example, Proofing Tools for Spanish require 16 MB of hard disk space; Proofing Tools for Japanese require 90 MB. Asian languages also require as much as 120 MB of additional hard disk space to accommodate the necessary fonts and Input Method Editors (IMEs).
Note:
Proofing Tools do not include bilingual dictionaries or word breakers.
Those tools are part of the language version or language pack.
Deploying additional Proofing Tools
You can deploy additional Proofing Tools for users who need to edit documents in languages other than those already installed on their computer. You can either install the language pack that contains the desired Proofing Tools (which installs the full user interface, as well, unless customized to install only the Proofing Tools), or you can use the Microsoft Office Multilanguage Pack to deploy individual Proofing Tools. With the Office Multilanguage Pack, Proofing Tools are distributed as a separate package (MSI file), from which users can choose to install any set of Proofing Tools. The Multilanguage Pack and Proofing Tools CDs for 2007 Office release will be available for purchase in major retail stores and via their Web sites, as well as through Microsoft volume licensing programs.
