INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Go into the "Game Installer" folder,
run L4D_Setup.exe (refer to the NFO-file for more info)
2. Install the "L4D Standalone Patch 1.17" which is included in the "Extras" folder
and during installation choose your player name for online play
(can be changed later through editing rev.ini in your game installation directory).
MAKE SURE TO CHANGE THE GAME INSTALLATION PATH TO THE CORRECT ONE!!
(--FOR ONLINE PLAY--)
3. Install Garena from the "Extras" folder, register a free account and enjoy online play!
To get the game working with Garena check the easy "Garena L4D Setup Guide" included.

1) disable UAC if using Windows Vista
2) run L4D_Setup.exe, choose the installation path for the game and click "Install".
3) after installation (file extraction) is complete, a command-line window should pop up.
just follow the on-screen instructions (eg "press any key to continue")
to complete the actual game installation...
(NOTE: If you accidentaly closed the window, you can restart the process by
going to the installation folder you chose and running setup.bat)
4) install the "L4D Standalone Patch 1.17" (aka RevEmu) from
the "Extras" folder in order to bypass Steam error messages.
