Melodía Ruiz Gutiérrez (born October 18, 1990 in Dos Hermanas, Spain), better known in the Spanish music world as Melody, is a pop singer. She made her debut at the age of ten with the release of De Pata Negra. The album featured the rhumba/merengue hit single "El Baile Del Gorila" and the Latin pop ballad "Besos De Cristal". She released a second CD titled Muévete in October 2002 and she went on tour in Latin America in 2003. Her third album T.Q.M. was her most popular to date, with the singles "Será" and "Dabadabadá". Melodía (2004) contains the hip-hop flavored single "La Novia Es Chiquita" and the ballad "Y Ese Niño". In 2008 Melody released her latest album Los Buenos Días with "Te Digo Adiós".
