0) IF YOU ARE RUNNING VISTA, YOU NEED ADMIN RIGHTS FOR ALL OF THIS, CAPICHE?
1) Shutdown QuickBooks (Duh!).
2) Update To R5 Using Offline Installer From QuickBooks Website.
3) Backup Original FEATURES.DLL From C:\Program Files\Intuit\Quickbooks 2008\
Directory To FEATURES.BAK.
4) Replace FEATURES.DL With The One Provided.
5) Restart Quickbooks And Enjoy 255 Licenses And REGISTERED Status!
Can It Get Any Easier? Don't Mean To Be A Smartass, But Come On!!!
This Was Tested With Quickbooks Premier 2008 Accountant Edition! But I Checked The
Files On Premier, Enterprise & Pro Editions And They Are Identical. In Fact, You
Can Convert A Pro Edition Into A Premier Edition By Editing A Few Files Before
Installation, But That's A Different Story... Bottom Line: This Should Work With
All 2008 R5 Flavors Of Quickbooks.
