SYNOPSIS:
Boston lawyer Christopher (John-Michael Lander) is accustomed to meaningless sex with men he never sees again. Smug and self-satisfied, he is shocked when he finds himself with a man who is the complete opposite of everything he thought he wanted--Stewart (David Vincent), a paunchy editor who sends him flowers with sweet notes attached. But is it really love, or will Christopher quickly grow bored with someone so honest and genuine? ALL THE RAGE is based on director Roland Tec\'s play A BETTER BOY.

What happens when a man looking for the perfect body finds that he loves someone for his mind? Christopher (John-Michael Lander) is a gay lawyer who\'s young, good-looking, successful, and happily out of the closet. However, he\'s not good with long-term relationships: he tends to be more attracted to men with good looks rather than substance, and he hops from one relationship to another with little thought of a lasting love affair. One evening, Christopher meets Stewart (David Vincent) at a party, and to his surprise he\'s very much attracted. Stewart is a book editor who\'s witty, intelligent, and soft-spoken; he\'s also a bit overweight and no pin-up boy. But when Christopher asks him out, he\'s amazed to discover that Stewart turns him down; it seems that Stewart is looking for someone sincere, and Christopher hardly seems to qualify. In time, though, Christopher convinces Stewart to give him a chance, and they become involved. However, old habits die hard, and Christopher manages to put a stake through the heart of their romance thanks to a one-night-stand with Stewart\'s hunky roommate. Bostonian Roland Tec takes a well-deserved jab at the lifestyles of the rich, horny and gay in this satiric comedy that skewers the superficiality of gay men. Christopher (John-Michael Lander) is a gay man’s dream catch: a lawyer who’s got money, a brain, a buff bod and a more than healthy libido. And even though perfect pecs are the not stuff of true happiness, Christopher would beg differently as he happily wallows in his own shallowness by toning up by day and successfully cruising the bars for other chiseled beauties at night.
Much to the horror of Larry (the hilarious Jay Corcoran), his sex-obsessed, gym buddy best friend, Christopher does find his Prince Charming but the prince turns out to be a frog, well actually he\'s a great guy. Stewart (David Vincent), an out-of-shape, chunky, under-employed geek without a clue on to how to accessorize is the new beau! Will the two find happiness in their mismatched arms or will Christopher’s wondering eyes do him in? A comedy yes, but also a bracing and needed indictment of the body-obsessed world of ‘90s gay men.
