Finally, for the first time on CD, all of the early recordings from the King of Shock Rock, Alice Cooper and his original band featuring Michael Bruce, composer, rhythm guitar, backing vocals; Neil Smith, the octopus on drums; Dennis Dunaway, the alien bassist; and, the late, Glenn 'G.B.' Buxton on lead guitar aka the ACG! From their early days after 'The Earwigs' with 'The Spiders' and their first single, 'Don't Blow Your Mind' through to 'The Nazz's version of 'Lay Down & Die, Goodbye' to the two albums produced by the legendary yet controversial, Frank Zappa for his 'Straight' label, 'Pretties For You' & 'Easy Action'. This special remaster includes many rarities from the AC archives, such as rare Mono mixes of 'Living' and 'Reflected'; rare studio jams like 'I'm A Man'; as well as the first official release of the oft bootlegged, 'Live At The Toronto Rock 'n' Roll Revival' sans the Ronnie Hawkins numbers, of course, with the much superior 'Live At The Whiskey-A-Go-Go, '69'. All of this on two elaborately packaged discs! Yes, 'School Days: The Early Recordings' should go well as the final necessary installment in the rehash of the ACG's earliest recordings!
