Disney Princess Stories: Volume One - A Gift From the Heart is a new hour-long program debuting on DVD and video this September. But, in spite of the nice-looking artwork and wide promotional push,
little creativity went into this DVD, which recycles existing animation into a collection of four stories featuring Disney princesses Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, and Cinderella. Two of these are complete episodes of cartoon series from the '90s. These direct ports actually offer more than the new stories, barely animated read-along shorts which show an absolute minimal effort.
