Plot Outline:
Donald P. Sinclair (Cleese) has placed six separate gold coins in different slot machines in his casino. The lucky six who find these coins discover an opportunity of a lifetime. The chance to own $2 million. Locked up in a locker in New Mexico, these six contestants must now race each other, to be the first to the cash. There are no rules in place and everything that could possibly happen, does. Whilst, behind the scenes, Sinclair's associates are placing their bets.

Donald St.Claire (John Cleese) äger det största och flottaste casinot i Las Vegas. för att tillfredsställa sina hedersgästers extrema spellystnad bestämmer sig St. Clair att andordna en helgalen tävling, där de förmögnaste och mest uttråkade spelarna får vara med och slå vad om utgången i ett race. Denna gång är brickorna i spelet ett gäng slumpmässigt utvalda casinobesökare. De får sex identiska nycklar som leder till ett skåp med 2 miljoner dollar på stationen i Silver City, New Mexico. Den som först låser upp skåpet blir ensam vinnare till hela summan. Det finns bara en regel - att inga regler gäller!...nu börjar en galen jakt på miljonerna och en hejdlös vadslagning bland gästerna.
