This video makes a nice companion to Solow and Justman's book of the same name, but it isn't much on its own. If you watch it before reading the book, you probably won't find much to enjoy. But together they make a very interesting and thorough look behind the scenes.

Hear stories from those who created TOS except the actors: producers Herb Solow & Robert Justman, directors Robert Butler & James Goldstone, composer Alexander Courage, researcher Kellam DeForest, set designer Matt Jefferies and NBC VP Grant Tinker. Keep in mind that it contains a lot of network propaganda, no content from the series, no appearances by the actors and that some comments accuse Gene Roddenberry of everything that went wrong with Star Trek.
