Be Kind Rewind (2008)



Jerry werkt in een electriciteitscentrale en heeft het angstige vermoeden dat deze centrale zijn hersenen doet smelten. Wanneer hij de centrale wil saboteren gaat het mis en raakt hij gemagnetiseerd. Het magnetische veld om hem heen bezorgt hem nog meer problemen als hij Mike bezoekt, zijn vriend die in een videotheek werkt. Door het magnetische veld zijn alle videobanden onbruikbaar geworden en kan Mike zijn baan verliezen. Aangezien er maar 1 echte vaste klant is (een oud vrouwtje) valt de schade te overzien en besluiten Mike en Jerry elke film die ze wil huren zelf opnieuw te maken en op te nemen zodat ze niks merkt..

Jerry is a junkyard worker who attempts to sabotage a power plant he suspects of causing his headaches. But he inadvertently causes his brain to become magnetized, leading to the unintentional destruction of all the movies in his friend's store. In order to keep the store's one loyal customer, an elderly lady with a tenuous grasp on reality, the pair re-create a long line of films including The Lion King, Rush Hour, Ghostbusters, When We Were Kings, Driving Miss Daisy, and Robocop, putting themselves and their townspeople into it. They become the biggest stars in their neighborhood.
