Colossus - The Forbin Project 1970

Dr. Forbin creates a new A U.S. Department of Defense supercomputer known as Colossus, which after being placed on line, develops its own intelligence independent of the programmers. It begins creating its own new computer language with a Russian counterpart super computer named Guardian. Then it starts sharing classified information with Guardian. Together they launch a plan for global domination. Colossus even takes its creator Dr. Forbin, prisoner watching his every move, at threat of destruction of cities if he does not comply.
