| Description |
One Piece is a story of a teen-aged boy named Monkey D. Luffy who wants to become the next Pirate King. Luffy set out to sail around the world along with his small crew of 9 called the Strawhats Pirates. Though they are small in numbers, they are composed of able, strong, and brave warriors of the sea. They go through different adventures during their travel meeting new friends and foes. Luffy may be the captain of his small crew, but he doesn't consider them his underlings unlike the other pirate crews. He considers them his "nakama" (friends). Because of this, Luffy would even put his life on the line if one of his nakamas is in trouble.
