| Description |
This is the IPSW file to restore your >> iPod touch 2G << to the 3.0 beta. This is the second beta, build 7a259g, released March 31, 2009.
Users still on the beta 1 firmware must upgrade immediately. Apple expired the beta 1 firmware on April 10, 2009.
If you wish to register your Unique Device Identifier in order to use the 3.0 beta officially and have access to all future betas, please visit http://www.iphone30activation.com and submit your Device ID. We will activate your phone within 6 hours (although it's usually instant, since we get push notification on our phones when we receive notification of your UDID.)
We still have several slots left to fill, and we do activations mostly 5 times every hour or so on average, so you'll be guaranteed to be running on 3.0 once you finish downloading this torrent.
I will be uploading torrents for the other iDevices soon, and expect a future release of the 3.0 beta 3 immediately after it's seeded by Apple.
