Battlezone 1.4M
Size 77,5 MB, it includes stock game plus:
- win 95/98/Me or win 2000/XP/Vista installation option
- dial-up or broadband installation option
- 1.4 patch - official patch
- Large Assets - official graphics patch, it will be turned off by default (due to unwanted spinning after ejection)
- Configuration Utility - for easier configuring of render.cfg
- new servers.dat - for seeing last Bz server
- bzone.iso - if you don't have CD
- fixed des files from stock game
- given option for not installing annoying green Bz cursors which remains after exiting game (not included in 1.4L)
Note:
Configuration Utility, built in installer, works only if you don't change suggested installation folder (C:Program FilesActivisionBattlezone). Image file is in folder EXTRAS (C:Program FilesActivisionBattlezoneEXTRASImage file).

- 29 IA maps
- 13 strat maps
- 8 DM maps
- Daemon Tools - free program for creating virtual drives and mounting bzone.iso
- Irfan View - free program for creating and saving screen shots with only 1 key
- Sygate Personal Firewall - free firewall
- option for custom sniper scope
- option for custom MAG sounds
- added planet Elysium from The Red Odyssey (required for map Biometal Run)
- any added map will go after stock maps in game browser
- fixed trns (no more crashing on maps like Tobruk or Armadillo), bitmaps and des files on custom maps
- you have option to pick only what you need
Note:
Install 1.4M Expansion in the same folder where you installed 1.4M. If you see message "Folder Exits" that means you are doing it right.
IA missions shortcuts will only work if you didn't change suggested installation folder, otherwise you will have to change shortcuts paths manually. IA missions briefings and bitmaps are in EXTRAS folder.
Also, any 3rd party program (Daemon, Sygate, Irfan) you choose during installation will be in EXTRAS folder.
