Mark Ronson [born in London] is a New York based English DJ, music producer, artist and co-founder of Allido Records. He is the son of socialite-writer Ann Dexter-Jones and real estate mogul Laurence Ronson. His stepfather is Mick Jones from Foreigner and is also the older brother of singer and DJ Samantha Ronson and clothing designer Charlotte Ronson.

'Version' is the second album by New York based English DJ, Mark Ronson. It is an album of cover versions. It entered the UK Album Charts at No.2 on 22nd April 2007.

'Stop Me' is a cover of The Smiths' 'Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before', released as a single on 2nd April 2007. It features Soul singer Daniel Merriweather and is featured on Ronson's second album, 'Version'. 'Stop Me' also uses lyrics from The Supremes' song 'You Keep Me Hangin' On'. It has since reached No.2 in the UK singles chart - the highest ever UK chart position for a Smiths song.
