Michael Jackson approached Barbra Streisand to perform this duet with him for his "Bad" album. She passed saying she didn't like the song. Jackson offered it to one of his back-up singers, Siedah Garrett. Garrett had shown her worth by presenting to Jackson a song she had co-written called "Man In The Mirror." That song would become one of his signature songs.
This is the advance promo CD which went to radio stations. It is the single version without the spoken intro.
