After a long wait finally windows 7 is here. Companies like Sony are not
providing any support to their customers to upgrade to the latest version of
windows. They prefer you to either stick with your current machine or buy a
new one. We know that you some time think what a waste of time and money when
you can't get any support from the manufacturer to upgrade to the better system.
What a joke guys that Sony models come with the vista home premium installed on
it you can't get the driver to upgrade to the vista ultimate. When you contact
Sony support they are useless as well as they don't know themselves what to do.
You be surprised to know that all Sony models which are preinstalled with home
premium 32 bit you can't get the drivers for even 64 bit. Same problem is in
place for the older models as well. Windows 7 again you have same pain as how
to get the drivers after clean install.
Guy's good news is as of know you don't need to stick with the pre install copy
as you can go ahead and install windows 7 OEM any version. You can use upgrade
root as well. Install drivers from this CD and your laptop will perform as it
was on the very first day along with all the functions and special keys.

All drivers are 32 and 64 bit compatible and are for SONY VAIO VGN series
laptops. After windows 7 installation finishes restart your laptop. Open your
device manager and run update for each and every driver even it's up to date.
If it tells you to restart than do it. After manual update reopen this CD and
start installing drivers from folder 1 to 15. Make sure you must restart after
installing from folders 1 to 5 even it doesn't tell you to do so. That's it
you up and running. Your VAIO laptop is working same as it was when you bought
it as new. ALL s1 , AV mode and volume keys are working fine.
