The Poet - The Rocker - the Phil Lynott Story - BBC Radio Music Documentary - cheops
A retrospective presented by James Nesbitt in which those closest to him remember Phil Lynott's work and life.
Lynott, the heart and soul of Thin Lizzy, remains a unique black and Irish rock icon whose influence continues to this day.
Contributors include his mother Philomena, Midge Ure and Gary Moore.
Two episodes of approximately thirty minutes each.
This program won the Silver Music Special Award at the 2007 Sony Radio Academy Awards.
