Toni Braxton [born Toni Michelle Braxton on October 7th 1967 in Severn, Maryland,
U.S.A.] is an American RB/adult contemporary singer-songwriter, and actress. Known
for her husky alto voice, Braxton has won six Grammy Awards and has sold over forty
million records worldwide. Her number-one hit Un-Break My Heart is the second biggest
single by afemale artist ever. With her 1993 self-titled debut album she topped the
Billboard charts and continued that streak with her second studio album Secrets which
spawned the number one hit Un-Break My Heart. After amessy bankruptcy she returned
with her chart topping third album The Heat. She is currently performing in her
successful Las Vegas act, Toni Braxton: Revealed. Toni is in the studio working on
her sixth studio album.

Ultimate Toni Braxton, released in 2003, and Braxtons Platinum Gold Collection,
released in 2004. The Essential is a2disc album with thirty-six of Braxtons best
songs. It also includes apreviously unreleased song, The Little Things, and asong
done with her sister group The Braxtons, The Good Life. In Brazil, the album was
released under the name The Best So Far, and with other cover, but the Track Listing
remained the same. The Best So Far has certified Gold for shipments of 500,000
copies.
