An Episode of Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends focusing on the Porn industry. Louis investigates the American porno industry...he speaks with veteran porno actor, turned director, Paul Thomas and John Dough over lunch, and they discuss what it means to be Wadded! He then meets with upcoming porn star, J. J. Michaels. This pint-sized sex machine is one of the more recognizable faces in porn, largely because he doesn't fit your typical preconceptions of what a hardcore stud should look like. Not the most muscle-bound man, not exactly the dreamiest looking guy around, and standing at a less-than-swarthy 5'5" tall. Louis follows Michaels to a video shoot where funny things happen, then he meets with another male porn star actor, Troy Halston, with whom he was cast in a porno flick. His experience in my opinion was the most depressing for me to watch, not because of the genre of porn, but because there are moments where Halston describes his work, and you see the look on his face...and you can tell that there is a lot of self-hatred/confusion going on.
This documentary was aired on the BBC for our british friends, so the nudity is really toned down
