This extensive tutorial set, created by the renowned Blender artist Andy Goralczyk, teaches artists how to craft a fully finished 3D animated scene. Tracking the evolution of an idea from creation to final render - and beyond. The result of the tutorials is an epic 90 second trailer.
The DVD-ROM includes an HTML interface that itself contains written tutorial/reference material, a collection of videos (tutorials in 1024x768 resolution), all intermediate Blender files, all final textures, and of course the helper Blender files for the tutorials.
Licensing details: All content, such as video tutorials, textures and Blender files is Creative Commons Attribute 3.0 licensed (similar to the Mancandy training disc)
The Blender Open Movie Workshop DVD series is a new Blender Institute product, targeted at spreading the knowledge of previous participants in Open Movie projects. DVD revenues will be used to support future Open Blender projects.
