These notes will be updated with each new build if needed, so should be checked each time you get a new version of the AIO.

1. Under no circumstances should any of these applications be allowed to check for updates online, some will be physically "fixed" to prevent this.

2. Windows 2000 and AnyDVD - should you encounter this error message after starting AnyDVD:- "Warning: Verification of the file .......AnyDVD.exe has failed!
The file has been modified! This might be caused by a virus! Please run a virus scan and reinstall"

3. It is recommended that you uninstall previous versions of Virtual CloneDrive before updating.

4. A Reg fix tool has been added to the AIO to fix a possible issue with "No DVD Drive Found" after install and re-boot, you use this at your own risk as i can not confirm if this is 100% affective as i have not had the missing drives message problem. Thanks to original poster for this fix

5. Under no circumstances should you have SpySweeper running when trying to install these programs.

6. User Account Control (UAC) in Vista is known to cause multiple install errors when using this AIO because it requires both access to the registry as well as file delete/over-write permissions, attempting to install any of these applications with UAC turned on is likely to result in various errors.

7. The user account installing these applications should also have Admin Rights on the PC, this is a standard SlySoft requirement, if you encounter problems, please check this first.

Game Jackal Enterprise Edition

Installation Instructions:

1) The Game Jackal Manager Tool

2) Game Jackal Enterprise Client Edition
The Game Jackal Manager should be installed onto the machine from which you wish to manage all clients from. The Game Jackal Client is to be installed onto the client machines (i.e. those machines that will be running the games).
Things to note

1) If you have Game Jackal Pro installed on the target client machine, we recommend that you uninstall this prior to installing the enterprise client.

2) If you have a previous non SlySoft version installed on the target client machine, we recommend that you uninstall this prior to installing the enterprise client.

Getting Started
After installing the manager and client(s), please read the Game Jackal Enterprise Edition manual
(this is a PDF). This can be accessed from the manager by selecting the help tab then the manual
button.

This AIO contains 2 Game Jackal Enterprise Edition components :-

Welcome to the latest version of Game Jackal Enterprise Editor (EE). Over the years Game Jackal has become the defacto standard with regards to “CD-free” gaming, and provided a genuine alternative to those users wishing to preserve their game’s media and play the games they have purchased with a minimum of fuss. This software contains 5 key components:
1) The Game Jackal client application
2) The Game Jackal service (optional)
3) The Game Jackal EE plug-in
4) The Game Watch plug-in
5) The Game Jackal Manager (GJ Manager)
Components 1 – 4 are collectively known as the client components (all these are automatically installed with the client EE installer), with the GJ manager known as the server component.

Installation
There are two different installs required. The first is the server component and the second is the client components. There is a special install build for the client that contains all client components including a special Enterprise build of the client application. This ensures that there are no issues with the meshing of the 3 client components. Firstly, install the client components on all client machines. If you have Game Jackal already installed, simply install over the top of the existing installation. The install options are as follows.
1) Run Game Jackal when Windows logs in.
2) Run as service, without desktop interaction. This allows Game Jackal to run as a service so it will be active outside of the user login. This also allows Game Jackal to run with most cybercafe software. If you do not choose this option, there must be an admin login active for Game Jackal to function correctly.
3) Run as service, with desktop interaction (option only available if service installed). This allows the Game Jackal service to interact with the desktop (note that using Game Jackal as a service requires some special consideration, please see running as a service for more info).
Note for the Game Watch plug-in to function correctly, The Game Jackal client must be running. Once completed, reboot the client machine as directed (this is an important step). From this point onwards there will be no requirement to access the client machines. Once you have the clients installed, install the Game Jackal Manager on the server machine. When this is running, select “Connect” and enter a range of IP addresses to scan. Note if the scan fails to find any clients, please check the firewall setting for both the client and server machines. In addition, you can try to connect to a specific client using the “Connect” button’s popup menu. Use this option if you are experiencing difficulties using the scan (see “Client firewalls” and “Connect” for further information).
