This is one of the BEST old school FPS games ever made! This is the full retail version of the game. The online patch is also included. No CD or CD key required to play. Works on Windows 98, 2000, ME, and XP.

Install Instructions

Open the Quake_2_Full_Game_+_Online_Patch folder.

Open the Quake_2 folder.

Click on the Setup.exe file.

Install to c:. - c:/Quake2

Done.

You may have to reboot before playing.

You should reboot before installing the patch.

After rebooting, open the Quake_2_Full_Game_+_Online_Patch folder again.

Open the Online_Patch folder.

Click on the q2-3.20-x86-full-ctf.exe file. If you installed the game to c:, you won't have to change the settings.

Done.

Reboot again.

Play.

The patch upgrades the game to: 3.20

3.20 is what you need if you want to play online.
