While I could not imagine any artist taking on the monolith that is Dark Side of the Moon, arguably one of the best albums of all time, when I first heard Mary Fahl singing Breathe, I have to admit I got goosebumps. Her voice is ethereal and yet full of power, bringing the emotion that as always been the bedrock of the album to the forefront. Yes, there is lots of space around her and that's as it should be...
it is her voice that carries the weight of the album.
