Dropkick Murphys are a celtic punk band formed in Quincy, Massachusetts, USA.[1] First playing together in the basement of a friend's barbershop, they blended Oi!, Irish music and hardcore. Their influences include Stiff Little Fingers, The Pogues, The Clash, Thin Lizzy, The Dubliners, and the Swingin' Utters.

The Meanest of Times is the sixth album by the Dropkick Murphys.
