Again, I can't believe nobody upped this so far!
It's a classic, just look at the artists!

The movie was awesome too, with Tupac and Janet Jackson in the leading roles, directed by John Singleton (who also produced this soundtrack), poetry by Maya Angelou....

This is what John Singleton had to say about this soundtrack: " The music we listen to is an extension of who and where we are as a people. Sistas listen to songs that take them away from their problems, the burdens of school, boyfriends, work, babies, etc. Brothers bump sounds that vent out their frustrations of being African and male in America.
