Israel in a Time of Terror (2003)

Terror bombing after terror bombing, day after day. Never has a nation had to endure such attacks. A sidewalk café becomes as dangerous as a military outpost. A simple trip to the supermarket becomes a horror of flying nails, glass, and death.

How do Israelis deal with this pervasive terror?
How do they explain their near-solitude in the world?
How do they really feel about Arabs?

These are a few of the tough questions posed to the people in this film--people randomly selected on the streets, in the stores, the taxis, and hotels of Israel. Their responses reveal their thoughts on life, on God, on America, on being Jews, on Arabs, and on being humans targeted for death.

Our media almost never shows us ordinary Israelis. Here is a chance to meet them.
